I've used the software to edit multiple short form and long form videos for school projects and local non-profits. Reading parts of the manual, and watching Arkhengeist's videos have been huge breakthroughs for me over the years, in terms of learning Kdenlive's potential. I've been using Kdenlive for a few years now and absolutely love it. So I looked for free options and found Kdenlive in a list of free software replacements for Adobe Creative Cloud. □ I lost touch with the classmate who installed the 2015 pirated version on my computer (the same year that Adobe decided to go with the subscription model - otherwise, I would have paid), and I didn't want to risk doing it myself. Basically: I was tired of pirating Premiere on my PC.
